Sanken’s compact, high-efficiency power modules include IPMs and discrete modules. Our protection-enhanced IPMs, single-packaged modules of power elements and driver ICs, are ideal for home appliances, industrial equipment, automotive (xEV) motors, etc.
Automotive Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs)
Sanken’s automotive intelligent power modules (IPMs) are designed for high voltage 3-phase BLDC motor drivers, which integrate not only power elements and driver ICs but also a rich set of protection functions in compact packages.
Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs)
Sanken’s high voltage 3-phase BLDC motor drivers support consumer and industrial use, including air conditioner fan motors, refrigerator or air conditioner compressors, and washing machine main motors. We also have drivers with sensorless vector control.
Automotive Discrete Modules
Sanken's discrete modules combine switching elements (i.e. power MOSFETs) and diodes in a single package, which can contribute to the downsizing of the injection system.
Arrays
Sanken offers arrays in which switching elements (e.g., transistors) and protection diodes are single-packaged. They are ideal for switching elements used in inverters.
